You can't eat a candle, but our scented candles are feeding the nation!

What an amazing thing to say. Our scented and unscented candles have become world famous because of our incredible customers. It's true! Every time you buy one of our clean-burning, full bodied candles, you're helping to "change the face of hunger". Five percent (5%) of the sale price of every product (including our hand made candles) is donated to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Voted one of the top ten food banks in America, this organization is hard at work battling hunger right here in Flint, Michigan and across the country. We are proud that they are our Charity of Choice.
Bayberry Candles and Bleeding Tapers
We are known around the world for our specialty taper candles. At Halloween, our unscented bleeding tapers are shipped to people looking for the perfect finishing touch to their haunted holiday decor. White on the outside, and a bloody red on the inside, these candles are a messy delight, perfect for any "blood curdling" party. At Christmas, our authentic bayberry wax tapers always set the scene. One of the reasons our tapers burn cleaner is because of our triple purification process. No other company we know refines their bayberry wax the way we do - a purification process that puts the wax through THREE stages of purification before we make a single candle. Frankly, few of our competitors actually use real bayberry wax to begin with, because it's so expensive. We believe that a true bayberry candle should be made with as much pure wax as possible. That's why we go through all the trouble of the triple purification. Fewer impurities means our candles burn cleaner and have more real bayberry wax (and less contaminate matter) for our customers to enjoy. Made from a secret blend of purified bayberry wax and other waxes, these taper candles are a hit for old-fashioned holiday traditions. They even include a gift card featuring the colonial traditional phrase "a bayberry candle burnt to the socket brings food to the larder and gold to the pocket."

Why the giving candle?
Frankly, we were tired of paying way too much for the scented candles that PartyLite and Yankee made: over priced and under-performing. We developed a recipe of solid wax (Yankee uses compressed granular wax) that is completely colored throughout (Yankee uses an overdip on many of their candles). Our secret candle wax recipe is designed to stand up to high temperatures (ever had your candles melt in the car on the way home from the store?), and burn completely. In fact, our floating tealight candles burn for an amazing 7-10 hours. That's as long as ONE PartyLite votive! We believe in giving more burn for your candle buck. Many of our candles cost less than 10 cents an hour to burn! You can illuminate your home with our longer lasting fragrances. Decorate with our globe jars that fill an 8x10 room with fragrance - and burn for 30 hours, but are only a couple inches high!
